life

well its been a good week this week.. practically went out on almost everyday till ive forgotten wad i did during the beginning of the week.. well i sort of remember la.. haha.. went to seng siong to buy stuff for the chalet and then went for bible study on tues and had a match on wed.. had a chalet yesterday and just came back from the barber.. amazing my life.. to the extent that my mom wonders when i'll actually stay home and do work.. well to an extent, me too.. hahah..the highlight of this week was the game against T2mustang.. felt that the team played better than against rjc.. felt i played better too.. hahaha.. well many have attributed this improvement in performance to someone and my take on it is that of, a neutral stance, or 'i dunno', or a simple shrug of the shoulder.. hahah..(this is a inside joke to those who're wondering wad im talking abt.) hahah.. life has been great.. God has been there for me whenever i needed him.. really thank him for all that he's done in my life..kinda think that i wouldnt be who i am without him..really hope that someone will get to know him more too..

well, someone has really been wonderful in my life.. thank you.

anyway am off now.. going to nordin's house to have a mini soccer gathering.. should be a enjoyable time with all the guys.. haha.. so enjoy the holidays ppl.. take care!

oh man.. cant forget yesterday.. went shopping at bugis and suntec and totally fell for the new big adiddas concept.. the store's so big man! haha.. and theres so much of them goodies inside that i really wanted to buy yet i knew i couldnt becos i have sent 300 dollars in two weeks.. (dun ask me how cos i dunno how) was like,'wad in the world!', when i saw the account balance.. haha am gonna die if parents find out.. which im gonna do my best to prevent.. first and foremost, im gonna claim back all the money which i used from my own pocket money for non-pocket money expenses.. i just hope that is enough cos ive got no more alternatives.. oh ya! went to nike by b.i.r.d too and the stuff there's cool too.. really nice pullover.. for someone.. there are like so many things that i wanna get but do not have neither the time nor the resources to acquire them.. hai.. next month then..

havent started on a single bit of my holiday assignments! and ive got so MUCH!! i tink.. i do rite? er... yes i tink i do.. well ya so the point is that i have to break away from tradition and actually do my holiday assignment during the .... holidays.. yes.. for the past few yrs that i can remember, i only started and completed my hw in the first week of sch or sometimes the second.. (if that is possible la) so i guess this yr will have to be different.. someone will be giving me math tuition starting next week.. so hopefully i can improve in that area..(hopefully)

todays sat and its a big day.. carnival by the indoor stadium and stuff.. its gonna be fun.. yup have really been busy with all the prep for it and stuff but its all worth it becos its for the right cause.. its for the only right cause as a matter of fact.. next week will also be quite busy too.. an assortment of other things that have been planned not by me but for me already.. so ya.. (have no idea why i said that previous sentence but ya.....)

as you can see, im kinda free(not bored) now to have written such a long entry.. and all of you have to thank me..(and everyone goes 'thank you matthew') but its my pleasure.. really.. hahaha..

ok im off now.. vacuum the floor.. using my superior speed and effeciency, i shall do the upstairs in 7 mins.. my room will take 5 and the rest of the rooms 2..hahaha...(obviously ive gotta do my room properly rite?) so ok.. cheers to all..have fun during the holidays and stuff..

wow its been long

haha so sorry for the long long delay.. been caught up with alot of stuff ranging from stuff to stuff.. haha.. well did ok for my exams la.. B, E, E, B3.. ya.. No really nice to look at if you ask me.. well just thank god for wadever i have cos i dun think i would have been able to get wad i got..
well these few weeks have been ok.. Pw and stuff.. my final presentation will be on tuesday so i really look forward.. to its end.. haha.. hope that everything works out well on that day.. that i dun crap too much.. hahah.. (which is somethings not difficult) well just gonna do my best and see how it goes la..
apart from sch and soccer, nothing really much as happened over these few weeks la.. as far as you guys are to know.. hahahaha.. jokin..

got a pw meeting with ah ben tmr at starbucks.. so think that would be my final chance to prepare.. ive only rehearsed by speech like twice only lor.. haha.. better settle it asap.. haha.. and extremely relieved that its the start of the month again.. finally have got money! haha..

its quite shocking how christopher reeves is dead.. aged 52 only.. well life is like that.. (sets ya tinking about the stuff that can happen to you)

well am now right in the middle of me exams.. econs today which was.....arh... lets not talk abt it.. still have pc tmr.. which i have no idea how to study for.. well dad just got another computer becos he said i was hogging this one.. well i was, and maybe am.. but hey i need to study right?
exams will end this friday so aft that im gonna strip and run around sch and do stuff that i cant actually say on the internet in fear of implications.. (if you're wondering, i'll be stripping down to my pe attire) some common sense pls.. thanks.. haha..

well really cant wait for the exams to be over.. play and play and play, and maybe eat and sleep.. haha.. hopefully, my results will be ok too so i can perhaps enjoy myself.. must catch up on my math man.. i musnt be so lazy at it..

well mines in about a week's time.. am SO not prepared at all!! well i'll just have to start first i guess.. haha

yup today was ok.. reached home and den went to visit grandma whose in hospital beocs of fever.. tink its quite bad to get yourself into hospital ya? went for buffet dinner aft that at a hotel.. price was extremely reasonable.. you guys must try.. its at quality hotel.. near ttsh.. haha.. yum yum..

yup everything's been great so far... other than the fact that im not prepared.. which hopefully will change over the next couple of days.. haha..

ok shall return back to my notes and stuff.. to all stuck in their preparations for promos, do take care and have enough rest as you mug.. this is the worst time to be sick. so be smart when you study! take care guys!!

spent most of last week slacking and stuff.. very little work was done so yup, went out quite abit , too much i tink.. the highlight for me was how i found out of my history test on thursday when the test was the next day.. so ya.... hahah.. but i just went in to see what i could do.. (very little) yup and am in the midst of confirming our performance on the 19th and 29th of oct in shss.. closing ceremony.. think our promos should be over by then la..

Still nicer than pete's grill at blk 85 la.. haha obviously, look at the price.. but pete's grill mixed grill is still as nice as the first time i ate like super long ago.. you've gotta try if you havent..

Last night was interesting to say the lest.. haha.. Didnt know everything would pan out like it did.. haha.. Just gonna hope for the best to come out of it, yet not putting too much thought into it.. gonna trust god! he knows wad i want. wadever happens, i'll be happy.. :)

Wad can i say

this week has been great.. Caught up with so many of my sec sch classmates and stuff.. acutally i still meet them around tamp and in church but its that more special when you meet them at the place where everything first began.. Had the bbq too which was good.. Talked about sch life and all that.. the usual.. haha.. with all of them how to not talk rite? haha.. its also good to know that there are others who are as stressed or worked out (yet not doin anything to help it) as me.. Shall start.. try to start..

Went back to sch for the last two days except today when my mother treated me to jack's place.. Beef is nice.. Medium done is how i like it.. haha.. Have another lunch date with her on friday where she's like gonna bring me to this nice jap restaurant.. haha.. (mouth watering) her friend opened it so we have a big discount when we go.. cant wait man!!

Anyway last night was interesting to say the lest.. haha.. Not hoping too much tho.. will let god direct everything tho.. (pls help!) haha..

yup today has been busy.. went down to sister wenhui's cg to play for them.. haha.. first time i played 'let the heavens' in F man.. no joke boy.. well got thru it with quite alot of pain to my fingers as well.. week has been good.. zaw treated soccer guys to pizza hut.. wonderfully tasty.. haha.. bought a new shoe!!! something that i have wanted to do for quite a time now.. so decided to buy it when i had the resources.. straight aft econs fac test, went down tamp central to buy the thing and played street soccer with tpjc soccer guys aft that.. great fun.. haha.. totally dominated the place..

anyways other dan usual school work with some soccer here and there, life has been rather laid back.. kinda hooked on that old song by the calling called our lives.(check that out) haha heard it on Su lyn's ipod and like, 'here i rememeber this'.. hahah..

went down for sun's concert thing too.. understood one of her songs k!! because........ it was in english.. haha.. ya it was good chilling out la.. although someone kept complaining.. haha.. (this is to that person, haha just joking la) wanted to see whether sumin was there.. tink she would probably be like at the front row or something.. hahah.. likewise for chee boon.. *no disrespect in any way. (this is needed when you've got internet savy teachers) haha..

PROMOS in 5 weeks!!!! uhhhhhhhhh.. was contemplating how in the world im gonna study with such a wonderful timetable, *in a sarcastic tone. yes so have decided to leave that to later.. haha.. anyway teachers day celebration is this tues!! wonder whether we're gonna visit mdm halimah.. wonder hows she.. hmmm.

hey.. sorry for the absence.. have been kinda busy with alot of stuff.. this two weeks have been great so far.. apart from the loss to our yr 2s which was ok anyway.. let them win la.. haha.. anyway watched quite a few movies lately, thanks to my sis. haha.. which is good by the way.. not all of them are of my genre la.. like cinderalla story.. (if thats how you spell it..) the one with hillary duff..(if thats how you spell it..) well caught collateral too.. the one with tom cruise.. that one is nice man.. like bourne supremacy.. ahah.. anyway heard from my sis that garfield ain't that nice after all.. but thats the opinion of a few so ya.. its your money..

away from them movies, ya had a great week.. hillsongs united came finally.. the first overseas trip for them..i felt wad really made the difference was the sound.. they brought their own soundman so that we could really hear and get the true feel of all the songs.. (notice how they all have almost the same hairstyles) haha.. super funny man.. they played good man.. did a few tricks or two.. like the one where they change the key totally for like a split second.. cool..

anyway soccer training has stopped till the end of the promos.. which is good.. get to do other stuff more.. like, studying? ya must, must.. however, the point must not be overdrawn.. i must continue running at lest once a week.. cos when training resumes, im dead.. lazy runners arent very good at soccer are they? haha.. its the potato chips la.. hai.. well got a math test tmr which have studied for to an extent.. finally did econs hw.. also however, to a certain extent.. start small.. haha..

anyway found out on sunday that shi min's urn is like directly opposite my grandma's one so was quite surprised.. its good.. both of them are in heaven.. it does set ya tinking tho.. wad have you exactly done on earth that sets you apart? especially christians.. yes, studies are impt, but wad do you live for? well its for you to figure.. everyone will have their diff perspectives on life and i just wanna live you all with this parting thought..

When you do go to heaven, wad will, or can you say that will speak of your accomplishments on earth.. tink about it.. that is who you are..

The village was cool just becos the features in the movie were so distinct. like how the ideals are subverted to the extent that they go against the whole principles of isolation in the first place.. so ya the twist was great..
had a match today.. it was good.. won 3-2.. the other team was good individually but i guess the poor pitch and our defending evened out the play.. well don scored a hat-trick but missed three EASIER chances so that would essentially cancel out the goals la.. haha.. more teamwork today which was excellent..
rather ok with this week.. have found out how ppl speculate about me and my future *.. the real details i would not like to comment ya? haha. just a word from me k? if theres anyone, i'll tell you guys k? so dun worry..
anyway looking forward to next week.. however that isnt too good cos it'll be like one more week closer to the promos.. haha.. well i shall start history soon and really study i hope.. havent been doin so for quite long.. hai..

well thank god for the holidays man.. haha.. well now jsut waiting for the guys.. haha their all coming over to watch the match which manu will like, SO win.. (hope) their gonna stay over and stuff.. well dan going for bro ian's wedding tmr and stuff.. haha its gonna be fun.. but the fun part will be in the evening man.. going to marina south with the clique to fly kite.. (joash's idea by the way) haha.. well the last time i flew a kite, we had to buy like three sets of string and connect them all together so like you can imagine the distance.. well we'll then be having steam boat and then catch the fireworks.. haha.. well friday's performance was great.. really really had a great time man.. had to be the guy who dived.. kinda pity the teachers.. haha the students just took over the whole thing at the finale man.. forming human trains and stuff to the tune of...... home? haha.. hp and the guys were on the stage playing with the ball during the song too lor.. haha.. totally spontaneous.. well its enough if you enjoy urself.. went back to shss too on friday.. haha talked to tan yen lin.. she's still the same.. haha.. now more full of crap.. really reminded me of miss kon man.. haha..come late for school and stuff.. we were supposed to have lunch with her but i tink she had something on.. haha.. computer club is like non-existent.. haha..
gonna catch the village this tuesday and SO looking forward to it.. *shall use me free ticket again.. haha.. it better be good man.. haha..

wooo hooo

yup this week that has passed was good.. Decided to go back to soccer after much contemplation. Well so back to trainings and stuff.. anyway we're performing a skit this friday for the ndp celebrations and stuff.. haha.. imagine soccer players acting.. its gonna be super funny... had rehearsal today till like seven plus and stuff and had fun.. so watch out for it ya? haha.. just hope we can control our laughter on that day.. we're dan gonna sing with the choir i tink but thats not confirmed and stuff.. haha.. but cant imagine at all.. yesterday was a blast.. went down to city hall to catch the fireworks festival.. last night was down up by the americans and i tell you, it was really really really great.. the finale was amazing man.. haha.. that really topped a great day..
had history test today which was ok.. doable but ya content mastery wasnt really there.. could only like write two pages plus half.. hai.. anyway am on my way to saving a sum of money.. have already set my sights on stuff that i wanna buy but gotta wait la.. fulfill my missions pledge too..
well life has settled down this past few weeks and am loving it.. think we're gonna watch the village this friday so see how it turns out.. better be nice.. tink i'll use my few tickets again.. (in a desparate attempt to save money.. ) should be nice.. I, robot was nice too..

life, an unfair and unjust life would sum up wad everyone in this day and age will go thru. Well it is the fact that life is indeed unfair that somehow makes it fair. think about it. having an unfair and unjust world would just level the playing field. no one would be able to have monopoly monolitic causation. (hope i used it correctly. haha ) everyone has that chance of getting cancer or any other disease like everyone else. everyone will meet that inevitable bf/gf who would eventually choose to cheat on him or her. EVERYONE meets the same livelihood of passing away at that very instant. Everyone would eventually lose his wallet at some stage of his life like any other. So dun pity urself and say that life is unfair. its unfair for all of us to that extent that the term "unfair" is no longer an accurate description of our lives. The defintion of 'unfair' is "Not just or evenhanded; biased". well take the fact that the probability of something bad happening to you is the same as that happening to someone else, its no longer biased and unjust. Instead it is just and indeed fair that everyone meets the fate they, themselves bring about.
Am speechless of wad has happened to my sec sch classmate. One whom i spent four years with. Why can such a thing happen to one of us? To one who has led a good life. To one who has been there, helping those who need help. i am overcome with shock and am utterly overwhelmed.
God help me and all the rest. For those from 4B, you should get the word soon. If it really happened which i so hope it didnt. Ppl, pls take care of urselves!!!

busy man

hey guys..sorry for not updating regularly.. this week has been SO
packed man!! haha.. had inter-fac games and outings and stuff.. anyway
ya the soccer thing was great.. did over and above wad we expected..
haha.. we won two science teams ya? that in itself is a major
achievement.. well but we didnt get into the semis so that was probably
the saddest.. part.. but as i always say the ball is round and so take
nothing for granted in soccer, let alone anything in life..
anyway nordin asked me back to soccer but not really sure cos
like my knee hurts and i cant really jump or do anything
other dan running or shooting which incidentally hurts at the same
time.. but i'm gonna take a few weeks off soccer to recuperate so
we'll see how it goes.. just hope i can really stay away from soccer..
haha.. its so tempting man!! right next to the canteen.. ah!!! maybe
i'll play last man and be like sha.. only less mad.. haha..



well got my results slip already and passed 3 A level subs and 1 AO
level sub.. haha math being quite far behind.. yea!! will study hard
for math and am quite happy cos have been attending all the lessons so
far so that at lest shows that im trying..



hai well off now.. got stuff to do like vacuuming the house.. this is
when you really wished you stayed in a small house.. dan like take 5
mins to vacuum.. haha.. well actually i can also take 5 mins ltr if i
really do it super fast.. my best time has been 10 mins for up and down
so ya.. (have been scolded for doin it too fast) but wad can i say? im
an efficent kind of guy.. (and everyone goes "wadever")haha.. sulyn
will roll her eyes.. yi xuan will be stoning so she wont know wad im
saying.. mab will be stoning too.. i have this feeling that they can
communicate thru their own bluetooth technology like joash and yuqin..
haha.. amazing.. miss kon would be eating her donut so she cant say
anything.. yuqin would be busy using his pens as chop-sticks picking up
the rest of his pens..(i have the video if you wanna see how he did it)

Passed all except math (and that chinese thing).haha. well nvm take it as a lesson learnt and will actually study for it now. math was really a no-hoper. didnt study or even look at it until like 10 mins before the paper. but i improved a 150%. that in itself speaks loads. haha.. yup the rest are all border-line passes. Have to be happy for wadever i have la.. just wanna thank god for wadever he has given and done for me.

Just hope that everyone does better next time ya? anyway ya today was kinda whirlwindy like. haha.. there were ups and there were downs and none of them i had a part to play but just stand there and be helpless.. Life is like that.. we dont have control of it most of the time. haha..

anyway tmr will be our inter-fac soccer tournament. so am like so excited yet also dreading it.. cos i know i may not be able to play my best and give my all tmr becos of my knee which is worse dan i thought.. like even running 2.4 is difficult.. well jesus will heal me nonetheless!! haha.. yup so hope we win.. the other team's strong tho but i have faith in the team(the best players in our fac!!)haha..
