Visited the Antarctic Centre and experienced the -40 chill room.. haha.. lets just say ive never felt so cold in my whole entire life.. haha

The Dolphins surprised us that day in Milford Sound

Milford Sound.. Considered one of the great wonders of the World.. It was formed by retreating glaciers millions of yrs ago.. fantastic place.. we took an encounter cruise which brought us right next to the rock faces and felt all the waterfalls.. shiok!

LOTR country.. haha.. can just imagine...........

On the Queenstown gondola.. overlooking the town. Its i tink the nicest city in the world..

Fox glacier.. View was amazing.. walk, was like army..

Glacier walk.. it was worth the effort although mel really complained alot! hahaha.. she had fun nonetheless.

This is wad it looks and feels to be standing under a waterfall. A little painful but worth it.. On hindsight, should have worn a raincoat..

The geography of the sound is very interesting.. the almost vertical face of the mountain with some overhanging rock is amazing.. all formed by glaciers..

Found the birds very cute.. so fat.

I think the nicest meal we had throughout the whole trip. the bowl of soup you see there, words cannot describe..

On the right is where we stayed in Queenstown and that is the view we had every morning we woke up..

Ive always had something for SUVs.. the car was such a blessing.. comfortable and powerful... hehe

At the Cadbury Choc factory. saw how all the chocs are made and got to taste very interesting ones..

The first day on the way to Dunedin..

One of the first photos we took. On the east coast of the south island.

We cruised at i tink FL390.. It was an overnight flight and we landed at ard 7 or 8.. It was a great flight.. Slept very little even tho it was like 11 hrs.. watched all the movies that i hadnt seen before.. for that, my sister must get the praise cos she chose them.. haha! This pic was taken as we descended into Christchurch.. How does icing affect ur aircraft? Now the met lessons come in handy..

So in a nutshell, that was the trip. My parents, mel and i.. it was fantastic.. all that i regret was not being able to ski.. we were early by half a month.. sigh but i enjoyed it nonetheless and i really thank God for the opportunity to go.. to think abt it, had actually wanted to go ltr so we could ski but we ended up going earlier.. and when i came back i found out i was pushed forward for ground sch.. so tink everything fell in place.. Wad was the best thing that we did?? I have to say that it was the milford cruise and the shotover jet boat ride.. those were really the best! haha.. so if you're tinking of going down to NZ, let me know k..

am tinking of going overseas at the end of the yr before i go to perth.. hmm.. lets see.. maybe go bangkok in the meantime.. surprisingly i havent been there before.. only been to phuket.. fares very cheap... go check.. hehe..
